Week 3 | Day 2 | Activity 3: Hidden Figures

This week for day 2, activity 3 of week 3 for SLJ, we tried out a coding site. On the coding site, we coded shapes to be traced. For this activity, we wrote down what we thought about this coding app. Above is what I thought about it. This activity was based on Ada Lovelace and Katherine Johnson. Ada Lovelace was the first computer programmer, while Katherine Johnson was a brilliant mathematician who worked with NASA.

  1. If can get to see the movie Hidden Figures I think you would really enjoy this. Not only does the movie portray just how clever these ladies were but also the many difficulties that they had to overcome to be recognised. It is set in the 1960s as America was trying to get their space rocket program to work.

I good piece of coding that you have completed.Your learning journey is going really successfully.

  2. Hello Sakina! I think this game was pretty cool as well, especially because you get to practice angles and coding. Although I would pass the levels, it didn't mean they were easy. I always found it tricky getting the angles right, which meant I messed up the coding. But I was able to keep trying until I finally completed it. I think it was a pretty useful game, but I don't think I would play it in my free time..Did you find the game quiet challenging or difficult? Fantastic blogging!
