Week 4 | Day 2 | Activity 3: Girl Power

This week for day 2, activity 3 of week 4 for SLJ, we were asked to chose a role model and talk about them with an explanation about why they are role models. For this activity I chose Emma Watson as a role model. This task was based on Jessica Mauboy and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Jessica Mauboy is an Australian Aboriginal singer, who is a role model for being successful in her singing career. Dame Kiri Te Kanawa is an opera singer from New Zealand who has one of the best sopranos around the world who is also a role model.

Opinion Of BTS: In my opinion BTS is alright. I would say that they have good songs, but I'm not a fan of them. They are talented singers with their songs. I do like some of their k-pop songs, but not all. I would say my friends like BTS more than me and are fans of them. 

This week for day 4, activity 2 of week 4 for SLJ, we were asked to write our opinion of BTS and why we like them or not. BTS is a k-pop band with 7 members. In South Korea they have sold more than 15 million albums and have topped the music charts around the world.

Week 4 | Day 2 | Activity 1: Getting Stronger

This week for day 2, activity 1 of week 4 for SLJ, we were asked to write down our top 5 favourite artists and songs. On my DLO, I decided to first add my favourite artists. Then at the bottom I did my favourite songs. This activity was based on Samoan-Indian singer named Aaradhna who is from New Zealand. Aaradhna sang country songs and traditional Samoan songs.
