Kiwi Sport
This week we had kiwi sport in the hall with Kevin. First we did a warm up game. This was our last session of badminton. We had to choose if we wanted to play Octopus, Infinity tag or Stuck in the mud. We chose to play Octopus. For Octopus the 2 taggers had to be in the middle of the hall. The rest of us had to be lining. The taggers had to say Octopus or people who are wearing shoes and other things. If we got tagged we had to be in a t and try and tag people without moving. If 2 people didn't get tagged, then they had to be the taggers for the next round. We got to play 2 rounds. For the first round I got tagged, so I had to tag people. For the last round I got tagged again because I am not that good at Octopus. Once we finished playing Octopus Kevin showed us a trick. Then we had to try and do that trick. We had to put the shuttle on the racket. Then we had to rotate it. It was kind of hard doing the trick. After we did the trick we played singles, ins and outs. For singles, ins and outs 1 person had to verse another person. If someone got 1 point the other person had to go at the back of the line. 9 or 8 people had to be at each net. I only bated a little bit of people. For the last game we played doubles, ins and outs. For doubles, ins and outs a pair had to verse another pair. If a pair got 2 points the other pair had to go at the back of the line. I was partners with Victoria. We only bated some people. When we finished playing doubles, ins and outs we had to line up and say goodbye to Kevin. Then we went back to class.

LI:To learn new skills for Badminton. This week we had kiwi sport in the hall with Kevin. First we played a warm up game. The warm up that we played was stuck in the mud. For stuck in the mud their had to be 2 taggers. The taggers was Akuhata and Te Rangimarie. The people who wasn't taggers had to run around. If we got tagged from Akuhata or Te Rangimarie we had to be in the letter t. If we wanted to be free again someone who didn't get tagged had to clap between or legs and touch our arm. I got tagged a lot of times and I also freed some people. After we played stuck in the mud we had to get into partners. I was with Victoria. We had to get a racket each and 1 shuttle between the both of us. We had to go to a badminton net and do the forehand lift. 1 of us had to do the forehand lift and the other person had to catch the shuttle and throw it back. Victoria did the forehand grip and I had to catch the shuttle and threw it back. Once we did 5 we had to swap. Once we did the forehand lift we played singles, ins and outs. For singles, ins and outs their had to be 8 people in each badminton net. 1 person had to verse another person. When someone had 1 point the other person had to be at the back of the line. I won just a little bit. Once we played singles, ins and outs we play doubles, ins and outs. Doubles, ins and out is kind of like singles, ins and outs. For doubles, ins and outs we had to get in a partner. 4 pairs had to be in 1 badminton net. My partner was still Victoria. We had to verse another pair. If a pair got 2 points, the other pair had to go to the back of the line. We just won a little bit. When we finished we went back to class.

This week we had Badminton in the hall with Kevin. The first thing we did was Octopus. For Octopus their was 2 taggers. The taggers was Matthew and Raera. The taggers had to be in the middle and we had to be lining up near the chairs. Matthew had to say Octopus or something else like people who are wearing shoes or jumpers. If we got tagged we had to be in a t and we had to try and tag other people. We couldn't run or walk when we got tagged. I didn't get tagged from Matthew and Raera. If 2 of us didn't get tagged and we were the only ones left we had to be the taggers. Karlos and I had to be the taggers this time because we didn't get tagged. We tried to tag everyone, but we didn't. When we finished this round we played 1 more round. For the last round Victoria and Yesha was the taggers. I was trying to not get tagged, but I got tagged from Victoria. Once we played Octopus we did the forehand serve. We had to get into partners and we had to get a racket each and 1 shuttle between the both of us. When we got up to 5 we had to swap. When we finished doing the forehand serve we did the forehand lift. For the forehand lift we had our racket foot had to be in front of the shuttle foot and we had to be in the forehand grip. We had to get into partners again and 1 of us had to throw the shuttle to the other person that was doing the forehand lift. When we got up to 5 we swapped. After we did the forehand lift we played singles, ins and outs. For singles, ins and outs Kevin took out the Badminton nets. 2 people had to verse each other with a shuttle and their racket. The other students had to line up. 8 or 7 people had to line up, so that they would verse the person that lost. If we wanted to win we had to try and get 1 point. If you got 1 point the other person had to go at the back of the line then the person that was in front of the line had to verse the person that won. When we finished play singles, ins and outs we recapped on what we did. After we lined up outside and we went back to class.

This week we had Kiwi Sport in the hall with Kevin. First we played a warm up game called Infinity tag/Everybodies it. For Infinity tag everyone was in. We had to try and tag each other. If you got tagged you had to sit down. If you and another person tagged each other at the same time you had to do paper, scissors, rock. The person who lost in paper, scissors, rock had to sit down. If someone tagged the person that got you out you could stand up. I tagged a few people, but not all of them. Once we played the warm up we did Kevin showed us a example of doing the forehand serve. When he showed us we had to get into partners and we had to get a racket each and a shuttle between the both of us. I was with Victoria. Kevin took out the Badminton nets, so that we could do the forehand serve. I had to catch the shuttle and Victoria had to do the forehand serve. When we did it 5 times we had to swap. I did the forehand serve and Victoria did the catching. Once we did that we could do rellys. When we did the rellys we did doubles, ins and outs. Victoria and I didn't beat all the players, but we did beat some. When we finished playing we lined up outside and went back to class.

Badminton
This week we did Badminton in the hall with Kevin. First we did a warm up game. The warm up game was Stuck in the mud. The version of Stuck in the mud was quite different. Matthew and Aung Naing was the taggers. The taggers had to try and tag us. If we got tagged we had to be like the letter t. When someone wanted to free you they had to clap between your legs and touch your arm. I got tagged a lot of times and I freed some people, but not all of them. Once we finished doing the warm up Kevin told us to get into partners and get a racket each and 1 shuttle between the both of us. Kevin told us to practice our forehand grip and our backhand grip. I was with Victoria. I decided to do my backhand grip and Victoria decided to do her forhand grip. When we finished doing this Kevin told us to serve with our backhand grip. He showed us a example of it. 1 person had to catch the shuttle while the other person was serving the shuttle with the backhand grip.Victoria served with the backhand grip first. When we did it 5 times we swapped. Victoria had to do the catching and I had to do the backhand serve. Once we finished doing the backhand serve Kevin got out the Badminton net so that we could verse other players. 2 partners had to wait till someone looses and the other 2 partners had to verse each other. When a partner got up to 2 points the other partner had to go at the back of the line. There was 3 nets for people to verse each other. We versed Raera and Te Rangimarie, Chris and Karlos and Charlize and Alice. We did loose a little bit, but we still won heaps of rounds. Once we finished versing people we had to recap on what we learnt this week. Then we went back to class.

Kiwi Sport- Badminton
Today we had Badminton in the hall with Kevin. First we had to play a warm up game. The warm up game was everybody's it. For everybody's it everyone was in. We had to tag each other and if you got tagged you had to sit down. If someone tags you and you tag that person at the same time you have to play rock, paper scissors to see who has to sit down. I tagged some people, but not everyone. I kept on getting tagged when we played. Once we played the warm up game we had to get into partners. My buddy was Chavda. We had to get 1 racket each and get 1 shuttle. Chavda had to throw the shuttle to me and the I had to use the backhand grip to hit the shuttle back to the Chavda. Chavda had to make sure to catch it. Chavda and I got 6 points. Kevin told us to sit down on the white line. He told us that one of us had to use their forehand grip and the other person had to use their backhand grip. This was the last activity. Chavda used her forehand grip and I used backhand grip to hit the shuttle. Chavda and I tried hard to do this activity. Once we finished doing this activity we had to recap on the things we learnt. Then we had to say goodbye to Kevin, line up outside the hall and go back to class.

LI:To learn new skills for Badminton. This week LS1 had kiwi sport in the hall with Kevin. The kiwi sport that we did was Badminton. The first thing we did was doing a warm up game. The warm up game was Stuck in the mud. The taggers was Matthew and Charlize. The students that wasn't in had to run away from the taggers. If you got tagged you had to be like a starfish or the letter t. If you want to be free someone has to clap their hands between your legs and touch your arm. I did free some people, but not all of them. After that we had to get a racket and a shuttle. Kevin showed us a example of doing something that started with the word forward. Once Kevin showed us a example we had to try it out. We had to put the shuttle on the racket and use the racket to juggle the shuttle. Then we had to do a challenge where we had to juggle the shuttle 10 or more times. I didn't get juggle it 10 or more times. Once we did that we had to do something that started with back. We did a challenge on that too. We then had to mix the 2 skills together and try it out. We did a challenge on this skill too. The last skill was to juggle the shuttle with the racket and hitting the shuttle between our legs. We did a challenge on this skill too. I tried a new thing because I don't think that I ever did Badminton
