Winter Learning Journey- Day 7, Bonus activity

For this activity I had to write a description about this week. ( What I have learned, what I liked about this trip and what I didn't like about this trip.)

I have learnt a lot of things about New Zealand during the past 7 days of fun activities. I learnt that there are a lot of beautiful places around New Zealand. I also learnt that some people like to put rubbish in the bin to keep their area clean and some people don't like to put rubbish in the bin because they kind of want to keep their area dirty. I really liked how I used my imaginations to travel around new places. It was like I was already at that new place I haven't been to before. The list just goes on and on of new and beautiful places. I had a really great time going on a awesome kiwi road trip!!

Winter Learning Journey- Day 7, Activity 2

For this activity I had to take a picture of myself doing something relaxing. I find reading really relaxing so I took a photo of myself reading. The book that I was reading was Infinity Ring Book 4.

Winter Learning Journey- Day 7, Activity 1

For this activity I am walking around Taupo and I find out that there is rubbish in the footpath and in the lake. I have to come up with 3 I would do to make my neighborhood a lot more beautiful.

1. If I see a piece of rubbish or a lot of rubbish I would pick it up. 

2. I would put signs around saying pick up rubbish.

3. I would talk to a couple of people about rubbish and force them to pick at least 5 pieces of rubbish.

Winter Learning Journey- Day 6, Bonus activity

For this activity I made a list of my choice on the best hakas from the All Blacks. Then I had to choose if the first video was the best or the second video was pretty good or the third one was horrible. This was a very easy task to do.

Winter Learning Journey- Day 6, Activity 2

For this activity I had to choose 3 events and talk about them. This is probably the easiest activity I have done. At first it was hard but then I said to myself that I can do it. Remember don't give up on anything even if it is your dream.


1.  Oktoberfest-  Oktoberfest is a event that is held in Munich, Bavaria and Germany. It is on Saturday the 9th of September.

2. Rio Carnival- Rio Carnival is a event help every year before Lent and considered on the biggest carnival in the world with 2 million people per day on the streets.

3. St. Patrick's Day- St. Patrick's Day is a event that celebrates Saint Patrick's death. His death was on Saturday the 17th of March.

Winter Learning Journey- Day 6, Activity 1

As the wind blew my face off. The beautiful view made my eyes still. The birds flying around me.As I get nervous at once. Making me run. The land had flowers and many. As the group and I walk and walk. Seeing beautiful things. The camera snaps. As the photos are taken. As the air blows the waka. I then get exited as I feel the waka. As the cloud surrounds the sky. I start to feel the memory's. Leaves fall from the native trees. The group smile's happily. As pieces of grass fly away. As I see the beautiful houses swept away. I am back at last. Everything was perfect. This was already a new home to me.

For this activity I had to write a poem about me arriving at New Zealand and telling my first feelings. This was pretty easy for me to do. One of the things I liked in my poem was Everything was perfect.

Winter Learning Journey- Bonus activity

For this activity I have to choose whether I want to cycle to the Otago Rail Trail one day or not. I also have to say if it sound line fun or not and Why or why not.

I would like cycle to Otago Rail Trail one day because it sound like fun and I can travel to a new place I haven't been to before. It also sound like fun because if I was already there it would be like a long wide bridge where my friends and I would have a race and it would be a lot of fun.
