Oscar Pistorius

This week for another activity of my attitude care awards, I created a DLO about Oscar Pistorius having a positive attitude despite the difficulties he faced. The difficulty Oscar Pistorius had, was that when he was only 11 months old, his feet were amputated. Oscar Pistorious was a South African sprinter who won 3 gold medals and two titles for the Paralympics World Cup and the World Championships. I really like how Oscar Pistorius didn't give up on his dream even though his feet was amputated.

Representing PBS At Netball

This week for an attitude care award, Haylee and I decided to do the activity where we represented PBS at an outside function. I decided to create a DLO about representing PBS at netball, last year. I had a lot of fun playing netball and was proud of coming in Grade E, section 2. In my DLO, I decided to add photos, what we did for after school netball and what place we came.

PHN In Panmure Bridge | Care Awards

This week for care awards, I decided to do one of my attitude activities, which was about PHN in our school. PHN stands for public health nursing. Public health nursing is when registered nurses come to schools and areas around our community to check if anyone has a sore throat or any scars, to keep them healthy. I learned a lot about PHN when I did this activity for attitude.

Representing PBS At Cricket

This week for an attitude care award, I created a DLO about the cricket inter schools. In the cricket inter schools my team and I worked together, and came third place. Even though we lost some games, we still tried. I really enjoyed playing the cricket inter schools with my team. This is my fourth attitude care award.
