Ramadan Presentation

For my fourth activity of earning my Excellence & Innovation, I decided to make a DLO about my Ramadan presentation I presented to my class two weeks ago. I was proud of myself for presenting to my class. Something that I achieved was that presenting my presentation helped me boost up my confidence in front of the class.

9 Times Tables|Care Awards

This week for my third activity of earning my excellence and innovation badge, I decided to do the activity where I completed 6 days of Transum to learn one of the times tables, which included activities. I decided to work on my 9 times tables, because I was sort of stuck on it. I decided to create a DLO to add my photos of the activities I was playing for each day. I enjoyed my time of learning my 9 times tables.

Ali Riley|Care Awards

This week for my last activity of earning my excellence and innovation badge, I decided to do the activity where I researched a New Zealander who showed excellence and innovation in their life. I chose to research on Ali Riley who is an American - New Zealand football player. She was 14 when she joined football and is the captain of the football ferns. She also joined the Chelsea team for two years. I enjoyed researching about Ali Riley.

My Personal Passion|Care Awards

This week for my second activity of earning my excellence and innovation badge, I decided to do the activity where, I created a DLO about my personal passion. My personal passion is volleyball. For this DLO I included two images, my personal passion, my favorite volleyball player and how to play volleyball . I had fun making a DLO about my personal passion.

3 Motivational Quotes|Care Awards

This week for my first activity to earn my excellence and innovation badge, I decided to do the activity where I created a poster of inspirational quotes, to inspire other people. The three quotes I chose that were inspirational was from Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Zig Ziglar. My favorite quote would be Nelson Mendela's quote because you can change the world for everyone and not just yourself.

How To Be Cyber Safe|Care Awards

This week for my first activity of earning my confidence badge, I decided to do the activity where we either make a DLO of how to stand up for bullies, or how to be cyber safe. I decided to make the DLO of how to be cyber safe. I decided to include five reasons on how to be cyber safe, I also added a image that had cyber safe words. I had a lot of fun creating this DLO and telling others on how to be cyber safe.

Collage Of Life Of PBS|Care Awards

For the last activity of earning my respect badge, I decided to do the activity where we made a collage about life of being at Panmure Bridge School. I added a lot of images, like athletics day, the Sky Tower trip and more. These are the photos that I think is life of being at Panmure Bridge School. There are a lot of fun learning activities you can do at this school. I have had a lot of fun creating this collage.

Making Dinner|Care Awards

For my fourth activity of earning my respect badge, I decided to do the activity where I made dinner for my family. The dinner I made was chicken and potato. I used some help from my sister, because I didn't know the recipe and also to help me with the difficult parts. I think that this activity was the most fun, because I could spend some time with my sister and to see if my family's reactions to the chicken and potato dinner.

Aretha Franklin Song Research|Care Awards

For my third activity of earning my respect badge, I needed to make a DLO about Aretha Franklin's song "RESPECT". Respect means treating others the way that you want to be treated, for example, listening to the teacher when they are talking. For this activity I included a image of Aretha Franklin, a title with a link, some information and also what the song means to Aretha Franklin. I had fun researching and learning about Aretha Franklin's song.

Thank You Letter To Mrs. Anderson|Care Awards

For my second activity of earning my silver respect badge, I needed to write a thank you letter to a teacher or staff member. I decided to write this thank you letter to Mrs. Anderson, because she was my new teacher. Something I wrote for my thank you letter was how Mrs. Anderson was very helpful for the past few days, since I came to LS2.

Showing Respect|Care Awards

Today I completed my first silver CARE award activity. CARE stands for Confidence, Attitude, Respect and Excellence and Innovation. These are the PBS important values that the students strive for. My activity was for my respect badge. We did at least 5 activities to earn a badge. For my activity I needed to show respect using photos. The photos I took were picking up rubbish, showing respect and putting your hand up.
