Firework Safety

This week since it was Guy Fawkes, we created a DLO about fireworks safety to show the room 2. For this DLO, I worked with Miiana, Taheesha and Eyaka. With the fireworks safety, we included 5 simple important firework safety rules with some photos. After creating the DLO, we showed it to room 2 and 4. One of the important rules while near fireworks, is to always keep away while a firework is lit.

LI:To find information about firework safety. Today LS1 went up to LS2 to learn about fireworks safety. Firstly Mrs. Anderson told LS1 and LS2 about Guy Fawkes. After she showed us a slide where it had questions on. Then Mrs.Anderson told us to get into groups of 4. The groups had to have 2 LS1 students and 2 LS2 students. I was working with Victoria, Zahra and Shakaia. Once we got into groups we had to answer the questions. We also had to talk to each other about it. When we finished we had to watch a video. The video was about a teenager who wasn't careful with the fireworks. The teenager lost some of his body parts and had to go to the hospital. Once we did that we had to make a google slide and write about 3 or more fireworks safety rules. We did 8 safety rules. We only had 20 minutes to finish off the DLO.
