Week 4 | Day 3 | Activity 3: Feast Or Famine

20 or 40 Hour Famine: I would consider doing the 40 hour famine, because it would be a great experience of raising money for this charity. It would be generous to help refugees and a big achievement. It would be awesome to support these refugees. It would make a big positive impact on them. Both World Vision and 40 Hour Famine are both amazing, which is what I would like to be apart of.

This week for day 3, activity 3 of week 4 for SLJ, we were asked to write, if we would consider doing the 20 or 40 Hour Famine to raise money. I would definitely do the 40 Hour Famine. This task was based on Julian Dennison, who is 17 years old and joined World Vision, so he could be a 40 Hour Famine ambassador. 

Week 4 | Day 3 | Activity 2: Plot Points

Different Movie Overview: A 12 year old girl, called Allie starts her first day of her new school, after she moved to a different state ( New Jersey ) with her family. Allie was born with a syndrome, where she had different facials. She had a few surgeries and was disliked by a few kids because of her syndrome. A friend of Allie called Blair, shows the students from her school that having a condition or syndrome doesn't mean they have to bully Allie. Blair does what it takes to help Allie to stand up to her bullies. At the end the students that bully Allie, finally decides to be her friend. 

This week for day 3, activity 2 of week 4 for SLJ, we were asked to imagine that we had the opportunity to create a movie. We wrote a overview of our movie, which included the main characters, what it would be about, the important events that would take place and the name of the movie. The name of my movie is called Different. This task was based on Lupita Nyong'o who is a Kenyan - Mexican actress.

Week 4 | Day 3 | Activity 1: Talk Show Host

This week for day 3, activity 1 of week 4 for SLJ, we were asked to write about our future plans and interests. My future/dream job is to become an orthodontist. This task was based on Oprah Winfrey who who is a television legend. Her show was called The Oprah Winfrey Show. In South Africa, she started a school called The Oprah Winfrey Leadership School For Girls. Oprah Winfrey wants to provide kids with the chance to follow their interests/passion.
