Basic Facts Boxes|Addition & Subtraction

This week for basic facts boxes I decided to do addition and subtraction. The number range I did was up to 5. For basic facts boxes I did 50 addition equations and 50 subtraction equation. Altogether I did 100 equations. I had fun answering addition and subtraction equations.

Basic Facts Boxes

LI: To learn our basic facts. This week for "Basic Facts Boxes". I decided to do addition and subtraction. I decided to do my addition and subtraction, up to 20. I answered 50 addition equations and 50 subtraction equations. Altogether I answered 100 equations. I had a lot of fun answering addition and subtraction equations.

Addition Animation

LI: To complete four tasks over four weeks. This week for maths we completed our second task. We went on the google sheets to see what we wanted to do. I decided to do the animation. The operation I chose was addition. For the animation we had to use the algorithm strategy to figure out 6 digit equations. The animation was hard because we had to write down letter by letter and more.

This week for basic facts boxes I decided to do addition and subtraction. This time I decided to do up to 20. For basic facts boxes you have to choose either addition and subtraction or the times tables. For addition and subtraction you have to choose up to 5, up to 20 or up to 100. Then you have to complete the addition and subtraction equations. There are 10 boxes with 10 equations. I answered 100 equations all together.

This week for Basic Fact Boxes I decided to do addition and subtraction. I decided to do addition and subtraction up to 5. For Basic Fact Boxes you have to choose either addition and subtraction or the times tables. If you do addition and subtraction you can to choose up to 5, up to 10, up to 20 or up to 100. This time I decided to choose up to 5. Once you click on on, you can start answering the equations. I had a lot of fun answering the addition and subtraction equations.

Adding Fractions

LI: To add and subtract fractions with like and unlike denominators. This week for maths we had to show how to add fractions with like and unlike denominators. To show it I decided to make a google slide. For the google slide I showed how to add fractions with the same denominator and different denominators. The fractions that I used was 3/4 + 2/4 and 2/4 + 4/6. I added a explanation on how to add fractions.

Maths Strategies

LI: To learn and understand how to solve addition and subtraction problems using maths strategies.
This week for maths we had to make a DLO that shows maths strategies you already know. We also had to explain how we do the maths strategies. First we had to write a 2 digit equation, then we had to solve it using the maths strategies. The equation that I did was 56 + 28 = ?. The maths strategies that I did was number lines, place value, number bonds and vertical maths. I explained how to do it for all of the maths strategies I already know. I had to use some shapes and texts to do the maths strategies.

Fractions-Addition & Subtraction

LI:To answer fractions on addition and subtraction. For maths this week we had to make a copy of a google doc and write down the answers for the fractions on addition and subtraction. We also had to do the mixed numerals. If the denominator for the fractions on the addition and subtraction had a different denominator we had to times the questions. This was kind of hard to do but I got over it and wrote the answers that I did. I learnt to answer different kind of fractions on addition and subtraction.

Canoe Puppies

For a can do I did Canoe Puppies. For Canoe Puppies you have to answer addition questions. You have to try and get to the finish line first to be the winner. Their is other players that vs you. This game helped me with my addition. I had to answer the questions quickly so that I could win.

Fraction Video

LI:To add and subtract fractions of the same unit size. For maths this week we had to make a video to show you how to solve addition and subtraction fractions. The app that I used to record this was screencastify. I had to keep trying to make the video right. I learnt to add and subtract fractions.

Jet Ski Addition

For another must do I did my maths can do. For the maths can do I went on Jet Ski Addition. This is a addition game. You have to write in your name then press start. After you have to answer the addition questions. You have to try to beat the computers. If you answer the addition questions correctly that means you will ride more faster.
