Summer Learning Journey|Protecting Our Own|A Protective Plant

1. Cucumber
2. Watermelon
3. Rock melon
4. Lettuce
5. Boysenberry
6. Celery
7. Plum
8. Nectarine
9. Blueberry
10. Apple

This week for activity 2, day 2 of week 4 of Summer Learning Journey, we had to list 10 veggie, fruit or herbs that we would plant in our garden. This activity was worth 4 points. I enjoyed listing 10 veggie, fruit or herbs.

  1. Hello Sakina! You're garden would turn out great with all the good fruits and veggies you'll be growing. Juicy fruits sound delicious for this Summer, which gives me the question of what is your favourite fruit or vegetable to have in the Summer? Keep it up!

  2. Kia Ora Sakina,

Wow you have almost completed the Summer Learning Journey, well done!

I'm going through and catching up with your blogging now.

I see the two green odd ones out above - lettuce and Cucumber! Oh and celery.
What is your favourite out of all the above? I'd say I like nectarines the most.

Have you done any gardening before?

Take care and have an awesome weekend!

  4. Hi Sakina,
Great job on completing this activity! I liked how you included watermelon, cucumber and lettuce in your garden because they're some of my favourite fruit and vegetables. I also liked how you included a picture and a detailed explanation for the activity. If you could add 10 more to your garden, which fruit and vegetables would you choose?
