Summer Learning Journey|Wasting Away|The Black Drain

This week for activity 2, day 5 of week 2 of Summer Learning Journey, we had to tell the names of the rivers of two other polluted rivers in NZ, the locations and what is being done to clean the rivers. I decided to do Wairua River and Waitara River. This activity was worth 4 points. I enjoyed doing activity 2, day 5 of week 2.

    Hi Sakina, good choices for rivers!
    Well I say good, but you know what I mean. Good choices for bad rivers. The sad thing is, there are a lot to choose from. Have you seen any locally here in Auckland? And what do you think the quickest solution is for cleaning them up?

    Hi Sakina,
    Great job on completing this activity! I liked how you said that you enjoyed doing this activity. Although the rivers in New Zealand are being cleaned, I don't think they're cleaning them up fast enough, we caused the mess so we should pick up after ourselves. Do you think that they should clean the rivers faster?
