Swimming-YMCA Pools

LI: To learn how to be safe in the water. This week for kiwi sport we had swimming. We went to the YMCA pools on the bus. My coach was Kelly. First we had get down and into the pools safely. By doing that we had to put both our hands on one side and get in the pool. Then we had to try and get up and get back in using the ladder. After that we had to swim from one side to the platform. Once we did that we swam back. After that we did the starfish front and back. We got the pool noodle and started to float on our back. While doing that we had to kick our feet and go to the other platform. When we finished doing that we had to do the same thing, but float forward. After that we got the swimming noodles and we had to use it to swim frontwards. We had to kick our feet and go to the other side of the platform. Once we finished doing that we did the same thing, but floating backwards. When we finished doing that Kelly threw toys and we all had to get one each. We had to go to the very bottom of the pool and get it. Then we put it back in the bucket. We got out of the pool and went to change. After we went on the bus and went back to class.
