    Hi Sakina,

    Thanks for sharing your research about Canberra, well done! Canberra is quite similar to Wellington in some ways. It's a similar size, and due to it's location (South-east, not northern unfortunately) it can get sunny in the summer it gets quite chilly during winter too! In fact, they even occasionally get snow!

    Although Australia is a largely English speaking country, with rising levels of immigration we have seen a huge increase in new cultures and languages become a part of daily life there which I think is awesome. Do you think you will visit Canberra on your trip too? Or will you stick to cities like Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Perth?
