Week 3 | Day 1 | Activity 3: Apple Vs Microsoft
This week for day 1, activity 3 of week 3 for SLJ, we thought about 3 common rivalries. This was based on Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs is the co founder of Apple and Bill Gates is the founder of Microsoft. Bot Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are seen as rivals. The three common rivalries that I have thought about is Visa vs Master card, Apple vs Samsung and Ferrari vs Lamborghini.

Rivalry can be really positive in some cases Sakina...it can empower and motivate you to be better than before! Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteHi Sakina! These are some really good examples of rivalries in your presentation. Well done on attributing the photos, they look really good as well. Visa vs MasterCard was most interesting, I haven't seen anybody else do credit card companies. Great job!
ReplyDeleteSalaam Alaikum Sakina,
ReplyDeleteWow what awesome rivalries you have identified! One that I always have a constant debate about with friends and family, is the rivalry between Samsung and Apple. I have owned both branded phones and this is my perspective; I believe that Samsung has a better camera, better battery life and easier messaging application, however, I think that Iphones are a lot easier to use in general, especially with the home button being readily available and lastly the Apple App store is so much better. Separate to this, I think IPads are way better than Samsung notepads and I really dislike Macbook laptops! What are you thoughts on one of the rivalries you posted about or another rivalry? I am interested to know your perspective.
Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
Cheers,
Mani
Hey Sakina!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job on this activity! I think you have done a great job because it was nicely detailed. Good luck for the results of the SLJ!
Hi Sakina,
ReplyDeleteI think that you have a great job finding some big time rivalries. I also agree that Apple vs Samsung is a pretty big one. Both tech giants try their best to develop better phones to become bigger over the other company. Which one do you prefer the most? Keep up the good work.
