Week 2 | Day 4 | Activity 3: Wise Words
This week for day 4, activity 3 of week 2, we identified someone who we think are role models. I have chosen my sister, Nadia. We asked our role model to give advice not only to us, but also to the viewers/ blog readers. My sister is an amazing role model and inspiration.

Here's a quote from the film/book WONDER - “I think there should be a rule that everyone in the world should get a standing ovation at least once in their lives.” “Kinder than is necessary. Because it's not enough to be kind. Keep blogging Sakina, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteHi Sakina! This was a very inspirational quote from your big sister, she is a great role model for you. This was definitely encouraging and a quote to carry with you in life. In simple, what did you take from what she said? Great blogging, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteKia ora Sakina,
ReplyDeleteNice blue sky is out, definitely a day for the beach I reckon! What are you getting up to this weekend? I am working on my last day the ASB classic tennis tournament and might go watch a movie with some friends. Talking about movies what is your favourite movie? :)
Wow, what amazing advice! Your sister seems like a very wise person! I really dig the part of her advice when she talks about responding to people who may have wronged you, with kindness. So often, people lower their standards by responding to hate with more hate. I am a true believer of extinguishing hate with love and kindness! Good on you for remembering to add speech marks to your sister’s whole response too. I just want to thank you for sharing this lovely post that I am sure a lot of your viewers/blog readers will appreciate and learn from because I know for sure that I have.
Just a gentle reminder that now that you've finished the programme, you can earn many more bonus points and help encourage other students to finish the SLJ programme by leaving thoughtful comments on other students' SLJ related blog posts!

Hi Sakina,
ReplyDeleteI liked how your sister said that people should always be kind to each other because everybody has problems, and being nicer to them can help them with their problems. I found it interesting that your sister said we're enlightening our souls by doing so. Are you nice to everyone you meet?
