Summer Learning Journey|Here To Stay|Changing Climates

1. Read Books
2. Go on my chrome book
3. Sleep
4. Watch TV
5. Knit

This week for activity 2, day 5 of week 3 of Summer Learning Journey, we had to list five things we like to do when it is very rainy to go outside. This activity was worth 4 points. I had fun listing five things I do when it is too rainy to go outside.

  1. Hello Sakina! This activity was very easy to say the least but enjoyable as well. It's great to know that you like to take up your time inside by reading books. I personally enjoy rainy weather because it's another excuse to stay inside and I feel very safe with the satisfying sounds of rain coming down. How did you learn the skill of knitting? Keep it up!

  4. Hi Sakina,
Great job on completing this activity! I liked how you said that one of the things you'd most likely do on a wet day is go on your chromebook because that's exactly what I usually do. I also liked how you said that you also read books on rainy days, what kinds of books do you read?

  5. Kia ora Sakina,

Georgia E here again from Kaikohekohe (Northland) cluster! The Summer Learning Journey is coming to an end on Friday the 25th of January at 12pm, that’s tomorrow! Don’t forget that you can get extra points by posting meaningful, thoughtful and positive comments!

You have come up with some really fun things to do on a rainy day, I think I might try some of these next time it is raining! I really like your first idea- reading books- as it is something I would enjoy doing as well! What books do you like reading?
I also am a huge fan of knitting, especially in winter! Once you get the hang of it, you don’t need to think about doing it, which means you can sit in front of the TV- talk about multi tasking!

    Keep up the awesome work!

    Cheers,
    Georgia E
