Market Day Evaluation

Last week was our gala market day. For this market day, each class created something to sell. LS2 created rainbow crayons with a mix and variety of colours. For our rainbow crayons we collected broken crayons around each class and melted them into different moulds to set. Our rainbow crayons were a viable idea, because there were a variety of colours which attracted the customers, it was cheap and easy to make, was the right price and cost low which was an economical success. With the low cost we used the broken crayons which didn't cost, we were gifted the moulds and there was no labour cost. After we created the rainbow crayons we packaged them which cost $8.00 for the packages. For our market day stall we created banners and put on music to attract the buyers. On the day of our market day, we sold our rainbow colours and also explored different classes. Our rainbow crayons were a good price at the price of $1.00 for each rainbow crayon. Instead of coins we used tokens to buy things classes made. My favourite stall from our school was rm1 and rm3's stalls. Rm1 sold plants and rm3 sold pet rocks, slime and wrapping paper. It was a really fun day at the market day. At the end we sold all our rainbow crayons and made $96.00. Our cost was $8.00. So 96 minus 8 equals 88, which was our net profit.
