This week for day 2, activity 2 of week 1 for SLJ, we imagined that we were Neil Armstrong on the moon. We created a poem about how it felt like on the moon. Neil Armstrong was an astronaut, who was the first to walk on the moon. In my poem I tried making the last words of each line rhyme, like a normal poem.
Hi Sakina this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I like the poem you created imagining that you were Neil Armstrong. I really like the imagery you used. Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteHello Sakina! This is a great poem, definitely think it would describe what it might seem like on the moon. My favorite line was "I could leap the furthest I could ever do in Earth", because it makes a lot of sense but it's more descriptive than it sounds. Well done!
ReplyDeleteHi Sakina,
ReplyDeleteI like the poem that you have created about Neil Armstrong landing for the first time on the moon. It was great that you tried your best to make the words in the poem How would you feel if you were going onto the moon for the first time? Keep up the good work.
