Kiwi Can
This week for kiwi can we had Mr. Matt, Ms. Lily and Mr. Latu. Our theme was resilience and our topic was goal settings. First we had played a energiser called Snatch. For snatch we had to get into a circle. Then we had to hold a rope and put it on the ground. There was cones in the middle. Ms. Lily put on a song. We all had to dance around the circle. When the music stopped we had to get a cone. While the music was playing we couldn't step in the middle. We couldn't dive if we were going to get a cone. If we dived we had to sit on the side and watch. Once we played Snatch we sat in our four lines and talked about goal settings and what we did last week. Once we talked about that we did the activity which was called Octopus. For Octopus the boys had to go on one side of the room and the girls had to go on the other side. There was a hoop in the middle. Mr. Matt stood on that and he was holding two pool noodle. If Ms. Lily said crawl the boys had to crawl one the other side and the girls too. Mr. Matt had to hit us with the pool noodle, so that we could be octopuses. Ms. Lily said to crawl and walk only. It was hard because there was a lot of people acting like octopuses. After we played Octopus we did GKQ. Our buzzer was to put our hands on our heads and say our names. Once we did GKQ Ms. Lily did the points. All together we got 23.5 points. We only needed to work on respect. When we finished we did our chant and went back to class.
