Summer Learning Journey|The Air Up There, Carbon Sinks Don't Stink!
1. Tomato
2. Potato peels
3. Spinach
4. Fruit peels
This week for activity 2, day 2 of week 3 of Summer Learning Journey, we had to list all the foods that we would put in our draining sink. This activity was worth 4 points. I had enjoyed listing the foods that I put down my special drain.

Kia ora Sakina,
ReplyDeleteGeorgia here, from the Kaikohekohe (Northland) cluster! You will be seeing me and Dani floating around your cluster today because you guys are so busy. It is awesome to see how much effort and joy you guys are putting into your blog posts, keep this up!
Isn’t it amazing how the environment such as the forests and oceans can do so much for us? That is why we need to do everything we can to protect the environment as they protect us. I really like that you have put in tomato’s, yum! I love tomatoes, I enjoy eating cherry tomatoes (the mini ones) by themselves as a snack.
If I had to create my own sink I would put in all my favourite foods, such as pineapple, watermelon, chocolate and chicken!
Well done on your blogging Sakina! I really enjoy reading them.
ngā mihi,
Georgia E
Hi Sakina,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on completing this activity! I liked how you said that you would put potato peels and fruit peels in your sink. I also liked how you explained the activity and how you did it clearly. By saying that you want to get rid of fruit peels, do you mean all fruits with skins too?
