Summer Learning Journey|Blink and You'll Miss It|Logging Arguement

LI: To tell whether we should allow logging in New Zealand or not. This week for day 5, activity 1 of week 1 of Summer Learning Journey, we had to tell people whether we should allow logging in New Zealand or not and why. I don't think that we should allow logging native trees in New Zealand. My first reason is that the animals wouldn't have anywhere to live, so they have to find new homes. My other reason is that it can ruin our home/environment. This activity was worth 4 points.

  1. Hello again Sakina, I like your name!
It's Billy again from the Summer Learning Journey programme.
I've enjoyed checking out this activity and your reasons against logging in New Zealand. I never thought about the animals and how many homes they must be destroying. That's very considerate of you.

What materials do you think New Zealand homes could use instead of wood?

    Thanks, Billy.

  2. Hello Sakina! Well done on getting in on the Summer Learning Journey. It's great that many people agree that logging shouldn't be allowed. Your two points are great and matter a lot. Keep it up!
