Kiwi Sport

This week for Rippa rugby we had Mr. Haymish. First we had to wear a belt. Then Mr. Haymish put us into 3 groups. We played some rounds of Rippa Rugby. One team had to watch the other two teams play. The two teams that was playing had to wear tow tags. This time we could pass forward, backwards and sideways, but if two tags are ripped the person with the ball had to pass the ball backwards or sideways. Once we played a few rounds of Rippa rugby there was two lines of cones. One person from each group had to go to the other side to stand the opposite side of their group. All the groups had to have one ball each. The person with the ball had to have two tags on. The person with the ball had to run and try and trick the person that was standing opposite, by doing the sideways trick. Everyone from each team had a turn. Once we practised doing that we had to do it again, but this time we had to trick the person opposite by taking a step forward and spinning to the other side. The person opposite had to try and take the tag off the person with the ball. After that we had to pick a partner. I decided to choose Ellenora. We had to choose one person to go to the opposite side. Mr. Haymish numbered us. If Mr. Haymish said one the two people who got numbered one had to run and one person had to get the ball from Mr. Haymish, but the other person had to rip their partner's tag off. The person with the ball had to try and get the ball to the white line. We played a few rounds of this game. After that Mr. Haymish told 3 pairs to go in the middle and play. We all had turns being the defender and the attacker.
