LI: To collect materials needed to successfully complete our weekly superpower building missions with Nano Girl.
This morning LS2 worked in groups with our Year 4 students to help them create their first Summer Learning Journey. PBS are still at school this week so finding some of the materials we needed for our treasure hunt was easy. Our challenge is going to be able to find all the materials we need at home now. I found this activity interesting and fun, because I am looking forward to completing more of the Nano Girl Summer Learning Journey activities. Are you looking forward to completing these Summer Learning Journey activities?
Hi Sakina,
ReplyDeleteI really liked reading your blog post today. The best part about the blog post is that the blurb is well detailed and the screencastify explains what we did in class. I am looking forward to complete this activity and am very excited because we still don't know what we are making which would be like a surprise. What do you think the outcome will look like?
Keep up the great work!
Greetings Sakina,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your blogpost about the first SLJ task. I certainly am excited to participate in the Summer Learning Journey program. I have also done this activity and you can check my blogpost about it. What other scavenger hunts have you participated in and what for?
Hi Farzana!,
DeleteThank you for commenting on this activity. There was this one time I had a list of items to find and make, which was really fun as I was able to work with my group. It's great that you are participating in the Summer Learning Journey program. Have you also participated in a different scavenger hunt?
Hello Sakina,
DeleteThank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. I have participated in different scavenger hunts. One time, I participated in scavenger hunt for an activity outside of school. What things did you need and what did you manage to find?
Kia Ora Sakina,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey, it is awesome to see your first post of the summer and I look forward to seeing more as you continue blogging! I thought this activity was fun as you had to be creative and find substitutes for items you might not have had and it is the first activity in a series of Nano Girl activities and experiments. I think it is great that you worked with the younger students to help them with their first post and I'm sure they were very excited to work with you and your class. I think your video is well made and I like that everyone in your group had a turn to speak. I would like to know what specific materials you found, what you had to substitute and what you think you might be using the materials for? Maybe an experiment or to build something, what do you think?
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Ngā mihi nui,
Zana Yates
