18 Sentence Narrative & AudioBook

LI: To brainstorm a narrative./ LI: To write a 18 sentence narrative. This week for writing we had to write a 18 sentence narrative and make a audio book of us saying the narrative we wrote. Before we did that we had to brainstorm the narrative by going on a google form and we had to answer these questions. Once we did that Mr. Wong chose the problems and other things. For the narrative we had to vote what the story is going to be about. There was three choices which was a dog who got lost, a woman who was looking through a tree or bush and a person who was sitting on a seat and there was waves behind him. There was lots of votes for the dog who got lost, so we did that. After we brainstormed we had to make a copy of a google doc and we had to write down the problem, the three events and the solution. We did the orientation as a class. For each paragraph we had to have three sentences. We also had to use TEE which stands for topic sentence, explained in order and ending sentence. Once we wrote the 18 sentence narrative we had to make a audio book. We went on a website where we could record ourselves. Here is the link- Online voice recorder (beta)
