Haiku Challenge 1
LI: To correctly structure and write a haiku poem.
This week for another home learning activity, Florence, Haylee, Taheesha and I did a Haiku challenge. For this haiku challenge, we chose an idea for our poem. We decided to write a Haiku poem about the ocean. A haiku poem includes 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the second and 5 syllables in the last line. A syllable are pieces of a word that include sounds and is made up of vowels. Haylee, Taheesha, Florence and I worked collaboratively, by sharing our ideas with each other and negotiating.

Hi Sakina
ReplyDeleteGood job on your Haiku. You have described the ocean really well. I can imagine sitting at the beach watching the sun glistening on the waves.
I like how you wrote the Haiku poem collaboratively and it’s always good to negotiate when sharing ideas. You obviously worked well together.
Well done
