  1. Hi Sakina,

It is wonderful to see that you have been so active with the Summer Learning Journey programme. That's fabulous! I love to see that you're already on Day #3 and learning all about buying a ticket and staying safe in an airplane. There are definitely a number of rules that you have to follow when you're on board an airplane. The first and, arguably, the most important is to wear your seat belt. It's just like riding in a car!

It is also important that you learn how to stay safe in case of turbulence or an emergency and to make sure that you stow your items safely. I love that you have made note of each of these things in your blog. Well done!

I hope that you will have time to continue your journey soon. I'm sure that you're very busy with Christmas right now but we'll check back in a few days to see if you've had time to log back on and post another great blog :)

    Keep up the awesome work.

    Cheers,
    Rachel

  3. Kia ora Sakina!

Those are some very handy tips you've shared with us, well done. I just got off the plane this morning flying back from Nelson and I can promise you that all 3 of these are very important! Although I didn't have to worry about Rule #2, the others were certainly used.

Have you ever flown on a plane before? If you have, what were some of the safety instructions you remember?

Thanks for your really helpful blog today Sakina!

    Dan.
