LI: To write a recount using skills learnt this term. This week for writing we had to write a personal recount about a game we played outside. First we went outside and played a new game that Mr. Wong taught us. Then we went back inside and started writing our recount. We had to make a copy of a recount planner. For our recount planning we had to write down the reveal which has who, what, where, when and why, the events and the ending. For the ending we had to make sure we had a personal reflection. Once we did our recount planning we had to write down our recount at the bottom. We had to make sure we had TREE which is Title, Reveal, Events and Ending. When we finished writing our recount we had to copy our recount and put it on our writing journey. Once we did that we had to write down the date, the writing purpose and the writing focus. I had a lot of fun writing a recount about a game that we played.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teacher is Mrs Anderson.
