Winter Learning Journey-Day 4, Activity 1
1. The local people tried to put wet cloths and towels on the whales.
2. They put a lot of water in buckets and wet them to keep the whales alive.
3. They gather a lot of bottles or buckets and stuff then puts water in it to keep the whales safe.
For this activity I had to write down 3 things what local people do to keep the whales nice and safe. I got these things from going on Farewell Spit. Whales got stuck on the beach and got dry. The local people tried a lot to keep them alive and safe.

Hi Sakina. It's sad to hear that whales are dying from this. Hopefully what locals are doing is enough to save them. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteHello Sakina
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for those unfortunate whales that got stuck at Farewell Spit. I hope the locals managed to save some of them. Keep up the fabulous work.

Hi Sakina!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on explaining what the local people did to help the whales survive! The whales would've all died if the locals didn't help. If whales were stranded in your community would you try to help them?
Great work
