Kiwi Sport|Ki O Rahi
This week for kiwi sport we did Ki O Rahi, which was a Maori game. Our coach is Shanice. For Ki O Rahi, there were different places, like the ice bridge, the tapu, the poe and more. For kiwi sport we played Golden Child, but the Ki O Rahi version. There were two guardians around the tapu, so they could defend the ball from touching it. Only the guardians could go through the ice bridge. One team was Kio ma and the other was Taniwha. Kio ma had to run, touch the poe and put the ball down near the ice bridge. Taniwha had to throw the ball to the tapu, so that the person running has to stay where they are. The last person running was golden child. Next week we will play a real game of Ki O Rahi.
