  1. Hi Sakina,

What a cool photo! I can completely relate to you as I would have also felt scared and quite nervous about traveling to Australia. It's a bit daunting to do something like that for the first time, isn't it?

In my experience, it's always nice to travel with other people because they can support you and help you to overcome your nervousness. If you were traveling to Australia, who would you like to bring with you? Would you choose to invite friends, family members or both?

I usually travel with my partner, Andy and my son, Aronui. They're both really good company. They're pretty laid back and relaxed and they help me to remain calm and not get too nervous or stressed about things.

I'd love to know who you would most like to travel with, when you have a minute. In the meantime, keep up the great work with your blogging! We're really enjoying your posts!

    Cheers,
    Rachel :)

  4. Kia ora Sakina,

Great photo! I could tell exactly what you were feeling before I even read your caption. I think it is completely understandable to be feeling scared about visiting a new country. Often when we go somewhere new, it feels way out of our comfort zone which can be difficult to overcome. The important thing is to not let that ruin your experience, and instead jump headfirst into exploring an amazing new culture!

I really hope you will join back in with the SLJ soon, we would love to read more about your trip through Australia :-)

    Ka kite,
    Dan.
