Drama|READING CHALLENGE

This week for the reading challenge I decided to read a comic book called "Drama".

This book is about a girl named Callie who loves the theater. She would try out for the Moon Over Mississippi  production, but she's not really good at singing. She decided to be the set designer instead. One day she meets two boys named Justin and Jesse who are brothers. Things were getting bad at high school. On the day of the show it was a success. Callie and her friend Liz got dressed and went to prom. Jesse and Callie went to prom together. When they were dancing Jesse quickly left. Callie tried to find him everywhere. Finally she found him and left because she was angry. The next day Callie apologized to Jesse. The leader of the stage crew was graduating, so he asked Callie to be the leader. Callie was excited and said yes.

Harry Potter & The Philosopher Stone|READING CHALLENGE

This week I decided to do the reading challenge. For the reading challenge I decided to read a mystery book called "Harry Potter & The Philosopher Stone.

This story is about a boy named Harry Potter whose parents died by an evil wizard, Voldemort. Harry Potter was famous because he didn't die when Voldemort tried to kill him. Harry Potter was living with his uncle, aunt and cousin for a long time. Another wizard called Hagrid came to help Harry collect all his wizard equipment for Hogwarts. Harry didn't know anything about Hogwarts and he didn't even know he was a wizard. At Hogwarts Harry met friends called Ron and Hermoine. Lots of things happened while in Hogwarts, like how they played wizard chess to get through to collect the philosopher stone which could keep you alive for years. Voldemort tried to take the philosopher stone away from Harry. At the end Harry decided broke the philosopher stone and all was fine.

Snake Skeleton Found In Poo|READING CHALLENGE

This week I decided to do the Reading Challenge. For the Reading Challenge there are different types of texts we need to read. The text type I decided to do first was the Newspaper Article.

Summary- This article is about how there was a skeleton of a snake which was found in poo. A person called Elanor Sonderman found the poo that was 1500 years old. Elanor Sonderman found it in Texas and studied the poo that had lots of information.

7x Table Challenge

This week for maths, we were trying to improve on our 7 times tables. We did different activities online. I think that I need to improve on quickly answering my 7 times tables. The activity I mostly liked was dragging the answers to the questions. I think I sort of improved on my 7 times tables. I enjoyed learning and improving on my 7 times tables.

7 Continents Of The World

This week for a fun day, we learnt about the 7 continents of the world. The continents are, North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Antartica. Did you know that Asia has the biggest cave in the world. We created a DLO sharing 3 interesting facts about each continent in pairs. My partner was Miiana. We worked collaboratively to finish this DLO in 10 minutes. We did a lot in 10 minutes, but didn't finish it. This activity was really fun, because we learnt information that we didn't know about the continents. Some of the facts blew my mind.
